Comunication

FNQ’s Communication area is responsible, among other things, for the coordination of journalistic contents that guide and help companies in their continuous management improvement projects. Among the media developed and available are the FNQ Portal (1) www.fnq.org.br, the online newsletter FNQ em Revista (2), magazines Classe Mundial (3) and Excelência em Gestão (4), the special edition about the In Search of Excellence International Seminar, the journalistic coverage of all the events FNQ organizes (seminars, meetings, webcastings, Fora, among others), promotional and communication material, besides the editorial and graphic production of publications released by the institution.

FNQ Portal makes the connection with the management world

One of the most important media of the institution, the FNQ Portal has several objectives, including the following: publicity of all FNQ activities and works in partnership; publication of daily news on management, interviews and articles; development of the National Quality Award (PNQ®) process; presentation of the regional and sectoral awards schedule; provision of FNQ publications and studies for download; development and disclosure of a best management practices database; provision of free of charge software and courses aimed at management improvement, among others. In 2007, over 75 thousand visitors a month accessed these various services offered by the Portal.

Best Practices Database

The Best Practices Database includes many cases pragmatically illustrating the management models of World Class organizations. There are more 400 practices in Leadership, Strategies and Plans, Customers, Society, Information and Knowledge, People, Processes and Results.

e-MEG Diagnosis and Self-Assessment Software

FNQ has developed tools that enable companies to make remote and free of charge diagnosis and assessment of their management. The objective of the Diagnosis Software is to assess free of charge the maturity level of the organization’s management through a simple questionnaire. At the end, it suggests the most adequate criteria for the implementation of the Management Excellence Model.

The Self-Assessment Software is a more detailed tool that aims to help companies in their organizational management process. This software helps analyze each of the criteria by eliciting the organization’s practices, and helps keeping a score for the organization’s practices based on the PNQ – National Quality Award criteria. The system also consolidates data and supports the company in evolving and reaching higher levels of excellence.

Video Library

Webcasted events are stored in a video library that can be accessed at any time on the Internet. Special events, such as the PNQ – National Quality Award cerimony and the main lecture of the In Search of Excellence International Seminar are also recorded and made available in this environment.

Members-only Page

The members-only page is aimed at disseminating the Fundamentals of Management Excellence among the most successful Brazilian organizations, enabling information sharing and establishing the exchange of knowledge and experience.
